Herbie Lewis is a gang member in South Central, Los Angeles. He lives with his grandmother, down on Hoover. When John Carey was looking for witnesses at South Central, he saw Herbie in the company of Emmo Jones. Herbie did not provide any information about the double murder of Bob Hickman and Bobby Washington, claiming that on that night he had been with his grandmother.
