Police Quest, PQ for short, is a series of police procedural simulation/adventure games developed and produced by Sierra On-Line from 1987 to 1993. It later branched off into the SWAT games, a series of tactical simulators from 1995 to 2007. The first two SWAT games were released under the Police Quest name. The original trilogy was created by Jim Walls and the forth game was headed by Daryl F. Gates and Tammy Dargan. The main series features story driven drama, inventory-based puzzles, police procedures, and a sense of humor. They also include pop cultural references. The franchise is currently owned by Activision.

The Police Quest Collection pack can be purchased at the Steam Store and Good Old Games. The original physical copies of the games are a little harder to obtain, but they can be found at online stores such as Amazon and EBay.
